Taisha’s love of storytelling began in childhood. She got lost in books, discovered worlds on TV and was emboldened by hip-hop. In 2018, through her role as an office production assistant, she apprehended the relationship between the writer, the production company, the studio,  and the network. 

Since 2019, Taisha has furthered her knowledge by assisting an acclaimed show-runner and production company founder, who has an overall deal with a major studio. Her respect for writers and the art form has deepened, and she has learned the mechanics of television and film development. The insight she gained while working on projects like, Showtime's The Man Who Fell to Earth and Netflix's Rob Peace, were invaluable. With this experience, BraveSouls was born – seeking to share tools and guidance with budding TV and film writers.
